Phi Trương Nguyễn
Bioinformatician — Genomics • NGS • Computational Biology
Hello! I’m Nguyễn Trương Phi, a bioinformatician focused on genomics, NGS data analysis, and algorithm-driven computational biology.
My work centers on understanding bioinformatics methods beyond black-box usage—by studying algorithms, source code, and underlying assumptions—and translating that understanding into robust, reproducible analysis pipelines. I’m particularly interested in population-scale genomics, low-pass sequencing, imputation, and polygenic score analysis.
I enjoy working at the intersection of mathematics, computer science, and life sciences, where computational rigor directly shapes biological insight. Alongside applied analysis, I actively explore how algorithmic design choices influence accuracy, scalability, and interpretability in genomic workflows.
Outside of core research, I enjoy reading source code, experimenting with new computational tools, and thinking about how mathematical structure can reveal hidden biological patterns. I’m always open to thoughtful research discussions and collaboration.
